Second Easter Week
Dear my friends,
Here is the Gospel for us today according to St. John 3:7-15
Do not marvel that I said to you, `You must be born anew.’ The wind blows where it wills, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know whence it comes or whither it goes; so it is with every one who is born of the Spirit.” Nicodemus said to him, “How can this be?” Jesus answered him, “Are you a teacher of Israel, and yet you do not understand this? Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen; but you do not receive our testimony. If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things No one has ascended into heaven but he who descended from heaven, the Son of man. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.”
This is the Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ.

IN today’s Gospel we read about Jesus who says to Nicodemus that we must be born renew so we may understand on heavenly things. Through our baptism we are born renew in which we are marked out for heavenly things.
We bear on our soul the heavenly signs that proclaimed to the universe that we are children of God. We are born renew in the Holy Spirit and even God claims us as his own.
Jesus wants us also to be his witnesses. He wants us to proclaim to the world the reality of the “heavenly things” that he revealed.
Perpetual Adoration of the Eucharist is possibly the greatest testimony we can give. It is one of the reality of the “heavenly things” that he grants us all.
Let’s pray: Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit in our life. At times, we don’t always live in accord with the great blessing you have given us, but we know that your patience and mercy always give us another chance. Help us to love others and give them a glimpse of heavenly thing through Perpetual Adoration of the Eucharist now and forever. Amen.
