Fifteenth Week in Ordinary Time
Dear my friends,
Here is the Gospel for us today according to St. Matthew 11:25-27
At that time Jesus declared, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to infants; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. All things have been delivered to me by my Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and any one to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”
This is the Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ.

IN the Gospel reading today, Jesus Christ invites us to open the door of our heart to God, our Father. We might often close the door of our heart to God the Father; but God will never close the door of heaven on us. How can we open the door of our heart to God, the Father?
According to Jesus, first of all, we must be childlike. In other chapter, Jesus says, “Unless you change and become like little children you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven” (Matthew 18:3).
In order to open the door of our heart to God, we must never cease to be childlike. Children are not hiding behind masks. It means that we have to always strive to be sincere with our God and sincere with ourselves. We must be always seeking to please him above all things.
In the Perpetual Adoration of the Eucharist worship Jesus Christ who is the Revelation of the Father. Jesus Christ is the face of the mercy of God, the Father. To whom would Jesus not wish to reveal his Father? Have we desired to know the Father and be in heaven through him?
Let’s pray: Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for revealing the Father to each of us. Your preaching, sacrifices and death on the cross demonstrate that you want to reveal the Father to all of us. Help us to seek you with a sincere heart. Grant us the grace to possess the wisdom and knowledge that come from union with you while maintaining the childlike dispositions that you ask. Help us to depend on you as a loving child now and forever. Amen.
