THE Catholic community from Bunder Village –but mostly their young people as popularly known by its acronym OMK (Orang Muda Katolik) in Kebonarum’s Holy Spirit Parish in Klaten District, Central Java, has shown their strong enthusiams to host foreign and domestic delegation of the 7th Asian Youth Day 2017 (AYD7) scheduled to happen in Yogyakarta from 30 July to 6 August 2017.

These AYD7’s foreign participants are from Nepal,  Bangladesh, the Philippines, India, Laos, Malaysia, and South Korea.

But prior to their convention in Yogyakarta-based JEC, these participants –both foreig and domestic enthusiasts– are expected to carry out the so-called “Days in Dioceses” or knows as the DID in Bunder Village of Kebonarum, Klaten District, Central Java –just some miles away from Klaten’s dowtown.

Klaten is a city that is situated between Yogyakarta and Surakarta (Solo or Sala), the two most popular cities in Central Java from where the Javanese culture and civilation had been for decades generated.

Two contributors from Klaten and Jakarta shared their documented photos to Sesawi.Net and for this reason, we would like to thank to Mr. Ignatius Partopo SH and Mr. Simon Widodo for their generosity to share this important pictures. Both are emotionally related with Klaten and Wedi –the neihbouring sub-district of Kebonarum.

Mr. Partopo is a top official in Klaten Regency’s governmental office, while Mr. Widodo is a parishioner in Pejompongan’s Christ the King Parish Church in Central Jakarta.
