The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity
Dear my friends,
Here is the Gospel for us today according to St. John 16:12-15
Jesus said to his disciples: “I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now. But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth. He will not speak on his own, but he will speak what he hears, and will declare to you the things that are coming. He will glorify me, because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you. Everything that the Father has is mine; for this reason I told you that he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.”
This is the Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ.

TODAY is the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity: God as the Father, Jesus Christ, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is both about who and what. The Most Holy Trinity is God, the Father, Jesus Christ, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Most Holy Trinity is also the communion of love and mercy among Them. The Holy Spirit is inseparably one with the Father and the Son.
The Gospel today tells us that Jesus Christ promises to send his disciples the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of truth. He will guide them in understanding all that Jesus said and did!
The Holy Spirit will also guide us to understand the truth of the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity. He will enlighten our hearts and minds to understand what is the meaning of the Most Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit reveals the Father and the Son to us that we can personally know and love the Father and his Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. He helps and guides us to understand the communion of the Most Holy Trinity as the triune nature of God and the inseparable union of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
So today we celebrate the relationship of love and mercy among the God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit. Their relationship is in the communion of love and mercy.
In the Perpetual Adoration of the Eucharist, we worship not only Jesus Christ but also God the Father in the Holy Spirit. Thanks be to God that in our baptism, we are called to share in the life of the Most Holy Trinity, not only on this earth but also in in eternal heaven.
Let’s pray: Lord Jesus Christ, you give us your Holy Spirit as our divine Teacher and Helper that we understand the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity as the communion of love and mercy among God, the Father, and you are the Son of God in the Holy Spirit. May we follow this loving and merciful relationship that we always live in harmony with others now and forever. Amen.
