The Second Week in Ordinary Time
The Fourth Day of The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
Dear my friends,
Here is the Gospel for us today according to St. Mark 3:7-12
Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea, and a great multitude from Galilee followed; also from Judea and Jerusalem and Idumea and from beyond the Jordan and from about Tyre and Sidon a great multitude, hearing all that he did, came to him. And he told his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, lest they should crush him; for he had healed many, so that all who had diseases pressed upon him to touch him. And whenever the unclean spirits beheld him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God.” And he strictly ordered them not to make him known.
This is the Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ.

THE Gospel notes that wherever Jesus Christ goes the people come to him. They has heard about all the wonderful deeds and miracles which he performs.
As proclaimed today, all who has diseases press upon him to touch him. In faith they press upon him to touch him and they are healed. They are hungry for God and desire healing from their afflictions.
In the Perpetual Adoration of the Eucharist while worshipping Jesus Christ, we seek to lay hold of Jesus’ presence in our lives that he may touch and heal us as well. It is by faith that we worship Jesus Christ.
Let’s pray: Lord Jesus Christ, we read your word and consider all that you say and do with expectant faith. Draw each of us to yourself with increasing faith, fervent love, and eager readiness to do your will. Heal us from all our afflictions both spiritual and physichal ones now and forever. Amen.
