ATAMBUA in Timor Island of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province is the nearest city in the cross border with Timor Leste.
Atambua Diocese has dispatched scores of its catholic youth (Orang Muda Katolik, OMK) to participate 7th Asian Youth Day 2017 in Yogyakarta. But ahead to their final destination in Central Java, Atambua Diocese’s OMK also are expected to join other foreign delegations for the so-called Days in Diocese (DID) in Malang Diocese, East Java.
It is indeed a long trip from Atambua to Malang and then from Malang to Yogyakarta. However, they are all happy to enjoy this long trip as said by Father Yoris Giri Pr, the chef de mission of the group.
