Tenth Week in Ordinary Time
Dear my friends,
Here is the Gospel for us today according to St. Matthew 5:1-12a
When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up the mountain, and after he had sat down, his disciples came to him. He began to teach them, saying: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you falsely because of me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven. Thus they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
This is the Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ.

IN today’s Gospel, we encounter Jesus Christ who blesses us. He is source of all blessings.
Jesus calls us to be holy. He calls us to be a saint, blessed and happy.
We must get back on the rack to true happiness by experiencing the Beatitudes. It is our standard for life as expressed in the Beatitudes.
It is new roadmap to true happiness and blessedness. It is very opposite of the way of the world. We must have a deep desire to be happy and live in peace not in wordly perspectives.
In the Perpetual Adoration of the Euchatist we worship Jesus Christ who offers us a better way to true happines. The only way to true blessedness is as expressed in the Beatitudes.
Let’s pray: Lord Jesus Christ, grant us desire only this true happiness and reject all deceiving imitations that the world throws our way. Enlighten our mind today to know where true happiness lies. May we live your Beatitudes in our daily life now and forever. Amen.
